Sustainability starts with you
You can get involved in sustainability on campus in all kinds of ways. Here are some of the ways you can play a part to achieving our sustainability goals.
SustainableUWA
The University organises a number of on-campus initiatives for our staff, students and community throughout the year.
Take part in the popular annual UWA Bike Breakfast where staff and students cycle to campus on Ride2Work day and rewarded with a buffet breakfast.
Guided Tree Walks are held at various times of the year with one of our tree expert guides. You get to explore some of the most iconic trees on campus along with their interesting stories.
Plalking (pick up rubbish and walking) is where our participants can collect rubbish in and around the campus to sort out later into recycling or general waste bins.
More information coming soon.
Grand Challenges
Our Grand Challenges program aims to unite our world-class teaching, research and student experiences, and partnering with communities to tackle some of the world’s most complex problems.
