The University has a target to reduce waste generation by 10% by 2025 and increase diversion from landfill to 70% by 2025.

The University reuses and recycles various waste streams including:

• Co-mingled recycling
• Polystyrene
• Batteries
• Cardboard
• Furniture (on-site Furniture Library to store and re-use furniture in good condition)
• E-waste (through its partnership with RenewIT)
